I've been doing some thinking lately, and I've decided that I need to take my health and fitness more seriously.
My body has been good to me (save the stretch marks and occasional battle with back acne). I digress. Considering my diet, I should be far more flabby than I am. My body has put in overtime trying to metabolise the shit I have been putting into it.
I joined the gym at my job. Calling it a gym is being generous. It's comprised of two small rooms with a few pieces of cardio equipment and some free weights. I don't mind though. All I need is an elliptical and a treadmill. Plus, I plan on doing pilates at home at least three times a week. Furthermore, the convenience of having access to the aforementioned equipment at a place I am forced to go to regularly will certainly make me use it more - right?
Also, I am committing to no longer consuming snack products that are wrapped in plastic.
We'll see how long this lasts. Wish me luck.
